Panattoni is close to completing pre-let warehouse for UK Power Network at Panattoni Park Borehamwood along with the speculative development for phase one of the scheme which is progressing well
The speculative development is a 155,000 sq ft building that offers real flexibility. It can be let as one or sub-divided to create two units, one of 50,000 sq ft and one of over 100,000 sq ft. The pre-let to UK Power Network is a 36,000 sq ft building. Construction on this is ongoing and cladding will start this week.
Anthony Watkins, the Development Director, commented, “It’s always exciting when you see progress on site and the steels emerging, and we’re especially pleased to be continuing with the development in these unprecedented times. The prime location enables direct access to London and surrounding markets. What makes Panattoni Park Borehamwood such a great opportunity is that it is a London scheme but outside Greater London Authority control. This enables us to offer considerable benefits to our potential occupiers, including additional internal height and 24 hour access. It is also outside the Low Emission Zone and the London Lorry Control Scheme.”
Panattoni is due to complete the construction in Q4 2020.
