Panattoni Powers Ahead with Another 100,000 Sq Ft in Milton Keynes
Panattoni, the world’s largest privately owned industrial developer, in partnership with Newport by Panattoni, has started construction of Panattoni MK100, a new 97,412 sq ft speculative logistics facility in Milton Keynes. Located close to Junction 14 of the M1, the development is being built speculatively and will be available for occupation in Q3 2027.
The development will deliver a prime 97,412 sq ft (GEA) logistics unit, providing occupiers with high-quality, modern industrial and distribution space in one of the UK’s most established logistics locations.
Panattoni MK100 is strategically positioned on the M1, providing excellent access to the national motorway network and placing occupiers within easy reach of London, the Midlands and major population centres across the UK.
The decision to commence construction speculatively reflects Panattoni’s continued confidence in Milton Keynes as a key logistics market and its commitment to delivering immediately available, sustainable space in locations where occupiers want to operate.
The building is targeting BREEAM ‘Outstanding’, placing sustainability and operational efficiency at the heart of the development and providing occupiers with a future-ready facility designed to meet increasingly demanding environmental and operational requirements, securing the future of any occupier.
Ethan Greene, Development Manager, Southern England & London, said: “MK100 is about giving occupiers certainty. Occupiers looking along the M1 corridor need modern, highly sustainable space with excellent connectivity, access to labour and a clear delivery date, and that is exactly what we are providing here.
“By developing speculatively, occupiers can make their property decisions knowing that a best-in-class facility will be ready for occupation in Q3 2027. With BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ targeted and Junction 14 of the M1 close by, MK100 is designed around what modern logistics and distribution businesses need to operate efficiently from day one.”
Daniel Raemy, CEO of Newport by Panattoni, said: “MK100 further strengthens Newport’s European investment pipeline and demonstrates our continued appetite to deploy capital into well-located, sustainable logistics opportunities.”
The start of construction at MK100 builds on Panattoni’s significant investment in Milton Keynes and the wider M1 corridor, reinforcing the company’s commitment to speculative development in established industrial and logistics markets.
Panattoni MK100 will be available for occupation in Q3 2027.
Savills, TDB, and Incore have been appointed as joint letting agents.
